Who is Tawaf Travel, and which company stands behind it?

Tawaf Travel is a UK Umrah travel brand of 7 Continents Travel Ltd (Companies House 05224578), which has arranged Hajj and Umrah travel since 2006. The company is IATA accredited (91280442), and our flight-inclusive packages are protected under ATOL 10416. We arrange your return flights, your hotels in Makkah and Madinah, your transfers and your Nusuk support in one booking, so you deal with one UK team from enquiry to return.

How can I check that Tawaf Travel is genuine before I pay?

You can check us yourself. Search ATOL 10416 on the Civil Aviation Authority website (caa.co.uk), then look up company number 05224578 on Companies House. Read recent reviews on Google and Trustpilot from pilgrims who have travelled with us. When you pay for a flight-inclusive package, you'll receive an ATOL Certificate. Check that your flights, hotels and transfers are all listed on it.

What is included in an Umrah package?

Most packages include return flights, hotels in Makkah and Madinah, airport transfers and travel support. Inclusions can vary by package.

Can I build a custom Umrah package?

Yes. Your package can be tailored around your travel dates, hotel preference, budget and group size.

Can I pay for my Umrah package in instalments?

Instalment options may be available on selected packages. Ask the team about the payment options available for your booking.

How do I choose a reliable Umrah travel agency in the UK?

Look for clear pricing, suitable flights and hotels, reliable support, financial protection, and genuine reviews from previous pilgrims. Tawaf Travel provides personalised Umrah planning with ATOL protection on eligible flight-inclusive packages and support throughout your journey.

How can I speak to the team?

Call our UK team on 0203 504 6088, message us on WhatsApp, or send an online enquiry for quick Umrah booking support.

How many nights can I book, and can I choose the split between Makkah and Madinah?

Our set packages are 7, 10 and 14 nights. We can arrange other lengths, such as 12 or 21 nights, on request. You choose how your nights are divided. Many pilgrims spend longer in Makkah, and others prefer an even split. You can set your Makkah and Madinah nights separately in the package builder, and we'll price that exact combination.

Can I fly from my local airport, or do I need to travel to London?

We book return flights from these airports: London Heathrow Gatwick Manchester Birmingham Leeds Bradford Glasgow Airlines include Saudia, British Airways and Turkish Airlines. On current schedules, direct flights to Jeddah run from Heathrow, Manchester and Birmingham. From the other airports, your route includes one connection. Flights to Madinah usually involve a connection. If you live further afield, for example in Edinburgh or Belfast, ask us about routes from your nearest airport. We confirm the available routes for your dates when we quote.

Which dates book up first?

Ramadan books up first, especially the last ten nights, when hotels near Masjid al-Haram fill well in advance. UK school holidays come next, including December, Easter and the summer break. If you can only travel on these dates, book early to get a wider choice of hotels. Selected Ramadan Umrah packages have an early-booking saving of up to 15% during eligible periods. Note that Umrah visas are suspended around Hajj, roughly from the start of Dhul-Qi'dah to mid Dhul-Hijjah.

How much do I pay to book, and when is the rest due?

A £49 deposit secures your booking. You then pay the balance in instalments, cleared before you travel. Airline fares are only fixed once tickets are issued, so paying sooner reduces the risk of a fare change. You'll receive your ATOL Certificate when you pay. Before you fly, you'll receive your tickets, hotel vouchers, transfer details and itinerary. Check that every name matches the passport exactly.

If my plans change after booking, what will it cost?

That depends on whether your flights, hotels and transport have already been issued. Before they're issued, an administration charge applies, as set out in our booking terms. After they're issued, the rules of the airline, hotel and transport provider apply. Issued airline tickets can't be changed or refunded. If you ask us to change your flight, hotel or transport vouchers, you'll pay any cost involved. Travel insurance taken out when you book may cover cancellation for reasons such as illness. Please read our terms and conditions and arrange cover early.

What is Nusuk, and how do you help with it?

Nusuk is Saudi Arabia's official platform for pilgrims. Your hotel and transport must be confirmed through its Nusuk Masar service before an Umrah visa can be issued. Pilgrims also use the Nusuk app to get their Umrah permit for Masjid al-Haram and to book a Rawdah slot at Masjid an-Nabawi. We book your accommodation and transport through Nusuk Masar and guide you through the documents and biometrics, so your bookings and visa application match. Our Umrah visa page has more detail.

Is the Saudi ETA enough for Umrah on a British passport?

For most British passport holders, yes. The Saudi ETA replaced the Electronic Visa Waiver on 1 July 2026. You apply online at ksavisa.sa. It allows multiple entries and up to 180 days in a year, and you can use it for Umrah outside the Hajj season. You can't use it for Hajj. The ETA doesn't include medical insurance, unlike the dedicated Umrah visa, so check your travel cover. You'll still need: a Nusuk booking an Umrah permit a MenACWY vaccination certificate dated at least 10 days before you arrive If you travel on a different passport, ask us which route applies to you.

Can a woman travel for Umrah without a mahram?

Yes. Under current Saudi rules, women aged 18 and over can perform Umrah without a mahram. Under-18s must travel with a parent or an approved legal guardian. Many women prefer to travel in an organised group, which is why we run dedicated women's Umrah packages. Scholarly opinion on travelling without a mahram varies, so some women speak to a scholar they trust before booking.

We're travelling with young children or elderly parents. What can you arrange?

Children can perform Umrah at any age. For families, we offer child and infant pricing and can request adjacent or connecting rooms. For older pilgrims or anyone with limited mobility, we can: arrange ground-floor or lift-served rooms arrange airport assistance advise on wheelchair hire and the paid assistance services at both mosques Some hotels have a prayer hall connected to the Haram, such as Al Marwa Rayhaan by Rotana, which saves tiring walks on long days. Please tell us your needs when you enquire.
