Compare Our 3, 4 and 5 Star Umrah Packages 2026 from UK: Which Tier Suits You?

Choosing between our tiers comes down to two things: hotel standard and walking distance — to Masjid al-Haram in Makkah and to the Prophet's Mosque in Madinah. The core bundle never changes: every tier includes return flights, Umrah visa support, hotels and transfers, with meals and guided ziyarat available as add-ons. What changes as you move up is room space, occupancy and how few minutes you spend walking each day. 3-star (from £725pp) uses comfortable shared rooms a longer walk out; 4-star (from £765pp) adds space and shortens the walk; 5-star (from £825pp) puts you nearest the mosques with minimal walking.

3 Star Umrah Packages

Our 3-star packages are built for pilgrims who want a dependable, affordable Umrah package without cutting the essentials. Every 7, 10 and 14-night option includes return flights, 3-star hotels in Makkah and Madinah, airport and intercity transfers, and Umrah visa support. Rooms are triple or quad sharing, which keeps the per-person price down — ideal for groups and first-time pilgrims. Prices start from £725 (7 nights) and rise to around £850 (14 nights) per person depending on duration and dates.

4 Star Umrah Packages

Our most popular tier. 4-star packages add more spacious rooms, hotels with shorter walks to the Haram, and double or triple occupancy as standard. Return flights, transfers and visa support are included on every duration. Prices start from £765 (7 nights) and range to around £895 per person (14 nights). A strong fit for families and couples who want extra comfort without 5-star pricing.

5 Star Umrah Packages

Our luxury Umrah packages at 5-star level place you in premium hotels within the shortest walking distance of Masjid al-Haram — approximately 2–5 minutes on current pairings — and close to the Prophet's Mosque in Madinah. Return economy flights are included, with cabin upgrades available on request at an additional cost. Double and triple rooms come as standard, with suites available. Prices range from £825 (7 nights) to £975 per person (14 nights). Suited to pilgrims who want maximum rest between prayers and minimal walking.

Special & Custom Packages

Experience your Umrah journey with loved ones and choose the departure airport conveniently located near you. Enjoy top-notch facilities, exclusive discounts, expert guidance and more. We let you build customisable Umrah packages that fit your needs and budget.

  • Family and group packages: Set out on your sacred journey with loved ones. Our family Umrah Packages include coordinated flights, group transfers, and family-friendly hotels, while our Umrah group trips let communities travel together and keep costs down. Groups of five or more receive group pricing and a dedicated coordinator.
  • Women-only packages: Saudi Arabia no longer requires women to travel with a Mahram, so women of any age can book independently or join our women's Umrah departures, with shared rooms alongside other female pilgrims and support from experienced female coordinators visiting Masjid al-Haram and Masjid an-Nabawi.
  • Seasonal packages: Planning a sacred trip during Ramadan or the Easter break is a growing trend among UK Muslims. Performing Umrah in Ramadan multiplies the reward — and it is the busiest, most expensive period, so book our Ramadan Umrah packages several months ahead. The Easter holidays remain one of the most popular windows for parents and school children.
  • City-wise packages: We provide Umrah services across the UK, with flexible departures for pilgrims travelling from London, Manchester, Birmingham, Glasgow and other major UK cities — reducing unnecessary travel within the UK.

Umrah Package Prices from the UK: What You'll Pay in 2026

Umrah package prices from the UK with Tawaf Travel start from £725 per person for a 3-star 7-night package and range to approximately £975 per person for a 5-star 14-night package. Your final price depends on four things:

  1. Hotel tier — 3, 4 or 5-star, and how close the hotel is to the Haram or the Prophet's Mosque.
  2. Duration — 7, 10 or 14 nights.
  3. Travel dates — Ramadan and UK school holidays carry the highest prices; quieter months such as January and late autumn are typically the most economical.
  4. Room occupancy — "from" prices assume the largest sharing option (quad on 3-star). Double, single and family rooms available at adjusted prices.

You can secure any package with a £49 deposit and pay the balance in instalments before travel.

What's Included in Our Umrah Packages?

Every Tawaf Travel Umrah package is fully bundled: flights, hotels, transfers and visa support are arranged together in one booking, so you deal with one company from departure to return.

Return Flights

Return economy flights from your chosen UK airport with established international airlines including Saudia, Emirates, Etihad Airways and Turkish Airlines. Direct flights to Jeddah are available from London Heathrow, Manchester and Birmingham; departures from other UK airports involve one connection. There are no non-stop flights from any UK airport to Madinah. Baggage allowances vary by airline and fare — we confirm your exact allowance at booking.

Hotels in Makkah and Madinah

Named hotels on every package — you know where you are staying before you pay. In Makkah, hotels are chosen for walking access to Masjid al-Haram (approximate walk times shown on each package). In Madinah, hotels are positioned close to the Prophet's Mosque (Al-Masjid an-Nabawi). 3-star packages use triple or quad-sharing rooms; 4 and 5-star packages offer double or triple occupancy with suites available on 5-star. Hotel pairings are subject to availability, and a comparable alternative in the same category is offered if a listed hotel is unavailable.

Airport and Intercity Transfers

Air-conditioned transfers from Jeddah airport to your Makkah hotel, between Makkah and Madinah, and back to the airport for your return flight.

Umrah Visa Support

Guidance and application support for your Umrah visa. Our team advises on the right visa route, checks your documents and supports you through the application. Visa issuance and approval remain the decision of the Saudi authorities — no agency can guarantee approval. Visas are typically issued within 3–5 working days, but allow longer during peak season.

Guidance and On-the-Ground Support

A pre-departure orientation for first-time pilgrims covering the rituals, what to pack and what to expect, plus UK-based support available 24/7 by phone and WhatsApp while you travel.

Optional Add-Ons — Meals and Guided Ziyarat

Meals and guided ziyarat tours of the historic sites around Makkah and Madinah are not included as standard on any tier. Both can be added to any package at booking — ask your consultant for current prices.

What's Not Included

To keep our pricing transparent, the following are not part of the standard package price:

  • Meals and guided ziyarat (optional add-ons)
  • Travel insurance (strongly recommended; arrange before departure)
  • Personal expenses, Zamzam water purchases and gifts
  • Vaccinations and health preparations (see entry requirements)
  • Cabin upgrades, extra baggage and seat selection (available on request at cost)

Umrah Visa Rules for UK Citizens (2026)

Most UK passport holders perform Umrah on the Saudi tourist eVisa, which permits Umrah at any time outside the Hajj season. Key points:

  • Tourist eVisa: multiple-entry, applied for online. Check current validity, permitted length of stay and fees on the official Saudi visa platform before applying.
  • Passport validity: your passport must be valid for at least six months from your date of departure to Saudi Arabia, with at least one blank page. If your passport expires within six months of your travel date, renew it before applying — short-validity passports lead to refused applications and lost time.
  • Nusuk: after obtaining a visa, pilgrims register on the official Nusuk platform, which issues permits including access to the Rawdah in the Prophet's Mosque. Book Rawdah slots early — they are limited.
  • Hajj season: Umrah visas are not issued during the Hajj period each year. Around Hajj 2027 (mid-May), Umrah travel pauses; the new season is expected to reopen around early June 2027. Planning ahead?

Visa rules change periodically and are set by the Saudi authorities. Tawaf Travel provides guidance and application support; always confirm current requirements on official Saudi channels before booking.

What can you visit in Makkah and Madinah?

Beyond the rites of Umrah themselves, most pilgrims set aside a day in each city for Ziyarat — visits to sites connected with the life of the Prophet (P.B.U.H). Guided Ziyarat tours are an optional add-on to every package.

  • In and around Makkah: the Kaaba and Masjid al-Haram, the hills of Safa and Marwah (walked during Sa'i), Jabal al-Nour and Jabal al-Thawr, and the plains of Mina, Arafat and Muzdalifah associated with Hajj.
  • In and around Madinah: the Prophet's Mosque and the Rawdah (advance Nusuk permit required — we help you book it), Quba Mosque, the first mosque of Islam, Masjid Qiblatain, Mount Uhud and the graves of its martyrs, and the Jannat al-Baqi cemetery.

When is the cheapest time to go — and when is Umrah paused?

The cheapest months for Umrah from the UK are typically late September to November and the weeks immediately after the new season opens in June, when flights and hotels are quietest. Prices peak during Ramadan, Easter and UK school holidays. Umrah is largely paused each year during the Hajj season.

  • Now to December 2026 — the current season is fully open. Autumn dates outside October half-term are among the most affordable of the year: see October, November and December packages.
  • Christmas and winter (December–February) — popular with families using the school break; book December departures early.
  • Ramadan 2027 — begins approx. 8 February 2027, with Eid al-Fitr expected around 10 March 2027. Ramadan Umrah carries the greatest reward for many pilgrims and the highest prices of the year; see February and Ramadan packages and book several months ahead.
  • Easter 2027 — falls outside Ramadan this cycle, a practical window for families with school-age children.
  • May 2027 — Umrah is largely closed to international pilgrims in the run-up to and during Hajj, which falls in mid-May 2027. We do not sell Umrah departures for this period.
  • From approx. 6 June 2027 — the new Umrah season (1449 AH) is expected to open with the month of Muharram. Early-season June and July dates are usually excellent value, though summer temperatures in Makkah regularly exceed 40°C — plan prayers for early morning and evening, and consider a Madinah-heavy itinerary.

If your dates are flexible, tell us and we will show you the price difference — moving a departure by a week can save a family of four several hundred pounds.
